dinner: boeuf bourguignon with pommes purées
the boeuf bourguignon recipe is from the gourmet slow cooker. i got that book as a way of forcing myself to use the slow cooker more often. i think that my plan may be effective because this was delicious.
the potatoes are an anthony bourdain recipe. i added truffle oil. i’ve never been much of a mashed potato fan and i just realized that is because i wasn’t eating these mashed potatoes.
