finished object: phone-friendly gloves
these gloves have conductive thread in the tips of the index finger and thumb so that i can use my phone without having to remove my gloves first. i can’t believe how well they work. it feels odd to have a layer of knit between my finger and the screen, but wearing the gloves doesn’t affect my use of the phone at all. so cool.
for the gloves, i used a combination of the cancans fingerless gloves pattern and the teknika conductive thread gloves, along with a good deal of just winging it, especially when it came to the fingers.
