Kate Pierce came to visit this past weekend and we crammed as much touristy fun into a day and a half as humanly possible. Her flight was supposed to come in on Friday, but it was cancelled due to snow. I was very surprised she managed to fly in the next morning.
Is it easier to convince pre-existing friends to move here than to make new friends? I feel like the people I am closest too are scattered across the country and I dream to one day have them all in one place, but let’s face it, I’m probably so close to all of them because the everyday bullshit rarelly affects my relationship with them. Besides, I have excuses to visit various places and couches to crash on.
So winter is finally here. There is snow on the ground and in the forecast. I am balancing work, drawing comics, and logging almost 99 hours on Final Fantasy 13. This translates to “not leaving the house very much” but that’s to be expected in the winter, right?

this weekend barely happened but i am so glad that it did. even with all the cold and slush, it was pretty near perfect.
i want to 2012 to be the year of bff’s and so far, this plan has gotten off to an excellent start.
